Overlooking the Aisne and Ailette valleys, the Chemin des Dames covers some 35 kilometres. All along the road, visitors can enjoy spectacular views and sites marked by the Great War, including vestiges of trenches, symbolic monuments, churches, cemeteries, and villages destroyed and rebuilt.
